Catalyses
This table represents the development or discovery of novel catalysts that will accelerate the reaction of the listed functional groups at sub-ambient, ambient and elevated temperature conditions. Reaction kinetics were measured, monitored and studied to understand cure rates, viscosity profiles and resultant physical properties. Controlled changes to the crosslink density, glass transition temperatures, reaction rate latency, degree of cure, and consequential product purity were employed to modify product attributes. Our catalyst knowledge extends beyond the list below. Other examples are carbonylation, hydrogenation, and ethoxylation using rare earth metals or organometallic catalysts.
